What is Salon Château?

Château: (n.) a large French country house or castle. ​

Although our castle is nestled in southern Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Salon Chateau proves everyday to be a home.

​Here, stylists transform not only hair, but also the common misconception of vanity into its true face: self confidence. We recognize that self confidence is necessary to feel our best and true selves— to feel at home within ourselves.

In other words, a haircut is not simply a haircut; it is a step towards self love. It’s easy to say that self love stays where it is— within the self.  However, we believe that self love expands into love towards others and the world.

When your attitude towards yourself is in a positive light, you’ll be surprised to realize that your attitude towards others is easily influenced, translating internal love into something external.

With every visitor that makes it to the salon chair, we hope to bring about a chain reaction of positivity into the world.
